What’s Happening at New Day!

• Confirmation: Friday, February 10 from 4:00-5:30pm

• Kay Leaf will be having surgery on Friday, February 10. Dennis and Kay will need some assistance with meals. If you can help out, please contact Kay and Dennis.

• Soup Kitchen on Saturday, February 11. Contact Guy Backstrom for more information or if you're willing to help out.

• Worship at Temple View Care Center in Rexburg on Sunday, February 12 at 3:00pm. Meet at church at 2:00 if you're interested in carpooling.

• Church Council Meeting: Monday, February 20 at 6:30pm in the upstairs conference room. Anyone is welcome to attend.

• Shrove/Fat Tuesday Meal with St. Luke’s on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Soup Kitchen. Scott Lee from St. Luke’s is organizing the sign-up sheet and the shifts. This is an all-male volunteer committee from both churches. We have 10-12 guests thus far so save this date for Mardi Gras fun!

• 1:00pm (St. Luke's Service)

• 4:00-5:00pm "Ashes to Go" at the Albertson's Parking lot (590 East 17ths Street) from Pastor Ann and Mother Lea

• 7:00pm (New Day and St. Luke's Service)

• Lenten Soup Suppers followed by Holden Evening Prayer

• Wednesday evenings in March from 5:30-7pm. Worship begins at 7:00pm. Please use our sign-up for food.

• If you're interested in baptism or membership, please contact Pastor Ann.

• Thrivent Grants are available: If you have a Thrivent account or policy, you may be able to apply for a grant to help fund ministries at New Day. Please contact Pastor Ann if you have questions or to set up a time to talk about ways to support New Day.

• Rummage Sale: March 25 9a.m. to 5pm -March 26 9a.m to 1p.m. Cher Stone is the point of contact if you want to volunteer with set-up or have goodies to sell. We will ask for volunteers with pick-ups to deliver to St. Vincent's the leftovers. Proceeds will go to the kitchen update.
