Pastor Connie Day
Worship & Music Director
After starting her career as a server at Dairy Queen, Connie decided that music and ministry were more her style. She has been a music educator, youth and children’s minister, teacher and pastor. Connie served as Pastor at First Christian Church from 1993 until 2007, and she has been one of the pastors at the Little Church in the Pines since 2008. She was a teacher at Hope Lutheran School, and currently teaches 2nd grade at White Pine Charter School. During her college years, Connie was one of five students who toured the Northwest in a group called Pilgrimage. The group did 3-4 concerts each week in churches. At Hope Lutheran School, Connie taught 3rd and 4th grade, as well as music and Spanish, and she led a student “chapel band”. The students learned to play guitars and keyboards, and they played for chapel services and concerts. Connie has a 15 year-old daughter, Emily, and a puppy named “Mittens”. She enjoys wildlife photography and teaching children to solve the Rubik’s Cube.
